The Search for Supply Chain Excellence in Healthcare Awards
Mercy/ROi Wins Prestigious National Healthcare Supply Chain Award
Mercy/ROi recently was recognized as the National Award Winner for The 2010 Search for Supply Chain Excellence Award. Competing against four other health system finalists, Mercy/ROi's presentation, Changing the Game with Custom Procedure Packs, took home top honors. Mercy/ROi's presentation gave an in depth look at how SMHS has been successful in achieving extremely positive results with its CPS program.
"We are honored to receive this recognition for our CPS program," said John Black, vice president, Supply Chain. "It really shows the positive things that can happen when we collaborate across our system. The teamwork shown by clinicians at all of our hospitals, at our CPS manufacturing operation and among the ROi folks working in the field has been terrific. With such a great team to work with and such great results, our presentation was something that we were proud to do."

This elite award recognizes the leading healthcare systems in the United States who are advancing patient care with cutting edge initiatives as judged by their healthcare peers. These top five initiatives were recognized at the Spring 2010 IDN Summit and Expo where final voting for the national award winner was determined by the healthcare executive attendees attending the IDN Summit. Each of these systems presented during the Proven Models Track on Tuesday, April 20. During the Proven Models sessions, participants could go in-depth with each presenter during the Q&A portion of their 45-minute presentation. On Wednesday, April 21, each of these systems presented a strategic overview of their solution during the General Session of the IDN Summit.

2009
Performance Consulting, a division of ROi, received this award for the the innovative work accomplished in implemention of an enterprise-wide medication formulary, which resulted in cost savings of $3 million over two 2 years and a 60% SKU reduction.
GHX Most Innovative Provider Award
2008
ROi was selected as Innovator of the Year for its creative use of electronic commerce technology to improve data management, orders and supply chain processes.
Fierce Healthcare Innovator of the Year
2007
ROi was selected as one of ten innovators of the year for creative use of the supply chain to improve patient care and cost reduction through programs such as Mercy Meds and private label products.
